In loving memory... thank you for always calling me "smiley", forever reminding me how much a smile can change any moment for the better. You will be missed dearly Dennis; your smile, hugs, your humor, your fresh-caught fish at the cottage.

Karen, Leonard, Christopher and Steven, I am terribly saddened by the sudden death of a loving husband, a role model of a Dad and a beaming Grandpa!

Having known my good friend and associate, Dennis Gowan, since he began his career with London Life, I will always remember him as a dedicated Insurance Consultant, a lunch buddy at Swiss Chalet and a confidant who always had a solution for a successful outcome!

May his memory be cherished by the many who were privileged to have known him and may his life on the big lake in heaven provide an abundance of bass and trout!

My condolences to the Gowan family. I was shocked when I read about his sudden passing. I last saw Dennis in late April at the season closing tournament at the Dundas Granite Curling Club. We had a beer together and he spoke about how happy he was to be returning to curl in the fall, after his absence for part of this past season. Dennis was always happy and smiling. He was always upbeat. I will miss him at the curling club and here at Freedom 55. May he rest in peace.

Too soon and too fast.....I wish I had one more minute with the knowledge that it was Dennis' time to go. I would have given you a big hug, told you what a lovely person I thought you were and that you had such a fantastic smile. Unfortunately that doesn't happen , so what I can do is give our heart felt sympathies to Karen , Leonard, Christopher , Steven and the grandkids....Rest in Peace Dennis and say Hi to Sandy and Norm for us......Helen, Brian, Megs and Abs
