VOSKAMP, AREND JOHN (JACK)

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Arend Voskamp who died on April 3 in his 82nd year.

Beloved husband of the late Jean Voskamp nee Malcolmson (2004). Survived by Jean’s children, his stepdaughters, Geri Quin and Marilyn Prowse, and grandchildren Josh Prowse (Karen) and Carly Thorpe (Rob) and great-grandchildren Theodore and Finnigan.

Dear brother of Nelly Demik (late John). Predeceased by sisters, Suzanna Vandervelde and Maria Berkel, and brother Simon Voskamp.

Brother-in-law to Norma Southward, Harry Malcolmson (Betty), Claire Malcolmson (late Jerry), Donald Malcolmson and Irene Lang (late Paul). Arend will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their children.

Visitation will take place from 6 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday April 5 at Mt. Hamilton Christian Reformed Church (1411 Upper Wellington St. Hamilton). Memorial service will be held at the church on Thursday April 6 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will be held prior to the service at Chapel Hill cemetery.
