Passed away after a lengthy illness at Trillium Hospital on September 11, 2017 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Earl. Cherished mother of Marilyn (Bill) McGhee, Kevin (Bonnie) and Carolyn (Ron) Harris. Proud grandmother of Crystal, Robert, the late Steven, and Cara. Survived by her siblings Russell McKay, Pauline Jollymore and Georgina Langille. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the M.A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME (567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton) on Friday from 11:30-1:30pm. the funeral service will follow at 1:30pm, in the chapel. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Irene will be sadly missed. Her generous heart, Her love of family.
Our Auntie, she played such an enormous role in our life and our mothers guardian Angel. And the boss!! Never forget her just 4 years ago, grabbing Uncle Russel by the back of his shirt telling him to get down from the step stool as he was trying to help clean or fix the living room window. He wasn't doing it right. Ha Ha Ha,
