April 21, 1932- September 28, 2017

Passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer, in his 86th year. Survived by his loving wife Alice of 62 years. Devoted father of Peter (deceased), Sidney (Brenda), and Annette Moore (Vern). Loving Pake to Pamela, Scott, Brandon, Shawn, John, Thomas, Amanda- Lee and Heather, great- Pake to Matthew and Lucas. Predeceased by his brother Klaas and wife Linda. Will be greatly missed by his sisters Alice Vanderlugt (Brian) and Bonnie Vanderstoep (John). Visitation will be at Mount Hamilton Christian Reformed Church (1411 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton) on Monday October 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be on Tuesday October 3rd at 11:00a.m. at Mount Hamilton Christian Reformed Church. Private internment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dravet.ca would be greatly appreciated. We want to give a very special thank you to the remarkable and caring staff at St. Peter's Hospital on 3 West wing.
