Paul Bottrell

December 31, 1969 - December 31, 1969

BOTTRELL, Paul Andrew
August 23rd, 1961 - August 9th, 2018
It is with profound sadness that our
family announces the sudden and
unexpected passing of our beloved
Paul. Paul was the loving and
devoted husband of Catherine
(Pelletier), and the adored father
and best friend of his daughter
Laura Clare and soon-to-be son-inlaw
James. Survived by his loving
mother, Mary and pre-deceased by
his father, Kenneth. Loved and
missed by his brothers Mark
(Margaret) and Jim (Jackee). Adored
son-in-law of Bill and Dorothy
Pelletier, and brother-in-law to
Brian, Steven and Donnie Pelletier.
Paul was a fun and loving uncle to
Alanna, Virginia, Ken, Anne, Rory,
Cailey, Elise and Emma. Missed
dearly by his childhood partner in
crime, Lenny Cole. Paul devoted his
life to his family. He was a dedicated
husband and father. He provided his
daughter with a beautiful childhood
full of adventure and inspiration,
which she will carry with her
forever. Paul loved woodworking,
fishing, and being at the lake. His
sweet, gentle and wise soul will be
missed by all that knew him. In lieu
of flowers, contributions may be
made to Theatre Ancaster where,
along-side his daughter, Paul was a
dedicated member and served as
Vice President for several years.
Donations will also be gratefully
accepted to The Equestrian
Association for the Disabled. A
public visitation will take place on
Monday, August 13th from 2-4 p.m.
and 7-9 p.m. at M.A Clark and
Sons Funeral Home, 567 Upper
Wellington, Hamilton. There will be
a private funeral to follow where he
will be laid to rest beside his father.
As Paul would have liked it, a
celebration in his honour for friends
and family to share stories and
memories will be planned over the
coming weeks.

I am honored and blessed to have known Paul since BlackBerry days and more recently at Spin Master. I offer my thoughts and prayers to Paul's family during this difficult time.
