Mr. Buffett was my Grade 1 teacher at Riddell 30 years ago and I remember him very well. I have such vivid memories of that year because he created such a caring and welcoming classroom environment. I remember sitting on the carpet in the classroom listening to stories or participating in show and tell. I remember his math lessons. I remember handing out and receiving Valentines. I made great memories with other students like Sarah Wood who remains one of my best friends today. Sarah remembers offering to help clean the classroom when it was too cold to go outside for recess. Mr. Buffett would give us stickers whenever we helped out. All great memories that we are both thankful for :)
