Joyce McDonald

January 21, 1926 - June 25, 2021

It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Joyce in her 96th year. Joyce is remembered as a wife, mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and a friend to many. Joyce is predeceased by her husband Wilmer (Wibb), her brother Gordon and sister Marion. She is survived by her daughter Sharon (John), son Ron, Daughter Diana (Edwin), and son John (Barb) as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Joyce had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. She loved to laugh and after dad’s death mom kept busy with her many friends, playing card, going on weekly shopping trips to Jackson Square and taking 3 – 4-day bus trips to Canada and U.S. destinations. Mom always enjoyed a party and never turned down a small glass of wine. Mom spent the last three years at the Wellington Nursing Home in Hamilton. A special thank you the Wellington Warriors who kept mom safe and provided the care she needed with kindness. A private cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donations to your favourite charity are appreciated.
Mom, our memories are filled with love, happiness, and laughter. You will always be with us.
