April 26, 1927 - December 16, 2021


The family of Sheila M. Griffiths, sadly announce her peaceful passing, in her sleep at St. Peter’s at Chedoke L.T.C., Aspen Terrace, on December 16, 2021, at the age of 94. Our Mom was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard R., eldest son- Tony and grandson, Jimmy. Surviving her, are her son’s Robert (Beverly), Christopher (Lesley) and Richard A. (Cindy), 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Will be fondly remembered by Kathy McConachie and Pat Griffiths. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the M.A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home (567 Upper Wellington Street). Online condolences, may be made at www.maclarkfuneralhome.com. Due to Covid- 19 case numbers, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to all the staff of St. Peter’s at Chedoke, Aspen Terrace, for their loving and compassionate care of Sheila for the past three and a half years. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Diabetes Canada, the Lung Association, St. Peter’s at Chedoke or a charity of your choice. Thank you.

To. Chris Lesley along with all your family, so sorry to hear the news of the passing of your mom Shella this weekend. Losing a loved one at anytime is difficult but at this holiday season it makes your lose hurt so much more. Shella lived a very long life and now im sure you all will have some very special memories to remember. Hope Chris you are doing ok too. with no santa parade or get together to connect with others. To know Sheila was to instantly love her and all her amazing children, grand children and great grandchildren. What an awesome legacy she left behind. We never saw her not wearing her amazing smile and happy eyes. She is missed already. Hugs to all who loved her!
