Ronald Postma

February 18, 1934 - December 20, 2021


It is with great sadness the family of Ronald (Ronus) Postma of Hamilton Ontario announces his passing on Dec 20th, 2021. Ron leaves behind his wife, Jean Postma (Hamstra) of 66 years. Ron is survived by his children Shirley (Simon) Vandendool, Sylvia Postma, Judy (Bill predeceased) Verboon and Ted (Bernadette) Postma, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by his sister Geertje, predeceased by sisters Elizabeth, Jeltje, and brother Rinze from the Netherlands.
Ron was known for his love of coaching baseball which brought him to many locations in Ontario. Ron could often be seen in the aviary tending to his collection of birds. Ron's sense of humour and teasing will be greatly miss by those who knew him well.
Memorial Service will Be held on Dec 27th, 2021 at Mount Hope Christian Reformed Church by registration only.

We fondly remember Ron, his smile and humour, from our shared time in Dunnville. Our prayers for hope and peace go up for Jean, Anne and George, Nathaniel and Rachel and families. I want to offer my heartfelt sympathies. I am praying that God's love enfolds you and comforts you through the pain of loss.

Ron truly blessed my life numerous times with his wisdom, humour and guidance. I've been pondering how impactful he was in the trajectory of my life and thanking God for him.
