I will miss Val so much, She was so fun to be around and full of good spirits, love and caring for others and family. She also introduced me to real homemade blood pudding and other traditional foods from her family. I give your family nothing but love and support through these hard times. Val will be greatly missed in this world but will live on through our memories.

To have known and worked along side Val for many years at JCC was such an award winning role; Val gave me inspiration, advice, and courage to be the person I am today! To have been called her friend was a privilege... the times spend outside of the workplace and at her home with her girls were so full of laughter that we would cry a river of tears; her humor and laughter was contagious! I will always remember Val as one of the most honest, compassionate friends I have ever met. To Jillian and Kaitlyn: my heart breaks for you and your families, may you find some comfort holding on to your mum's memories close in your hearts xxx

I’ve been struggling to find the words to write here since Val meant so much to me. She was one of the most wonderful human beings that I had the privilege of knowing. She was affectionately known as my “work mom” and she lived up to the name. She was the most caring, kind and selfless person and she always brought a smile to everyone’s face. She was always there for me, and I’ll always remember our long chats in the workroom. She always called me sweet Sara, and I called her my beautiful Valerie.

To Kate, Jill, Hunter, Evie and the rest of Val’s beautiful family, I’m sending you all my love and thoughts during this difficult time and please always remember how amazing Val was, and how lucky we were to have her in our lives.

To my beautiful Valerie, Rest in eternal peace xoxo Love your sweet Sara

To Val,

We shared family stories.
We shared laughs.
We shared a bond.
We know that wherever you are, you're close.

You raised two lovely, strong, resilient women and helped to set that foundation for Hunter and Evie. Well done.

Val, you are a Blessing. Your kindness and sense of humour, your creative treasures and your 'cheekiness' will continue to inspire us and warm our hearts.
We celebrate you and your gifts to us. Now go have fun.

Lovingly, Saplywyj Family
