On Saturday, January 14, our heavenly Father called his beloved daughter Florence (Kiki) Smink (nee Broersma) to her eternal home in her 96th year. Kiki was predeceased by her loving and faithful husband Geurt ('09), and her daughters Hilma ('14) and Jackie ('81), and granddaughter Katelyn ('09), and her sons-in-law, Ron Triemstra ('18), and Sid Brouwer ('20). She was a loving wife to Geurt for 58 years.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her son John and his wife Hilda, daughter Carolyn and her husband John, daughter Christine and her husband Ray, along with her 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the wonderful care Kiki received from the nurses and staff at Shalom Manor.
Visitation to be held at Rehoboth United Reformed Church (77 Glancaster Rd., Ancaster) on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to noon. Private interment to take place at 12:30 on January 18 followed by her funeral service, a celebration of God's faithfulness, at Rehoboth United Reformed Church at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Shalom Manor would be greatly appreciated.
