Norm was like a father to Reste as I know he was to many of the kids in the neighbourhood. He was held in the highest of regards by Reste as I know he also was by the rest of the gang. Norm was the most level-headed, practical, calm, gentle, intelligent, kind, and caring person we are proud and honoured to have known. I know he will be greatly missed but his name and memory will be carried on as you continue to keep him alive through his baseball game (Replay)! It is always so difficult losing our parents and they will never know how truly we loved and appreciated everything they did in raising us. You will carry on his legend as his children and I know he will be proud of everything you do as he watches down from above. He and Grace will re-unite and together they will continue to love and care for you. I speak from my own experience. Our deepest condolences to all of you (Keith, Karyn, Nolan and Kathy). We are always here for you.

I will be forever grateful for the times I had with Norm - a gentleman in the truest sense of the word. Warmhearted and kind, his animated lesson on the proper downswing to create the perfect golf shot while in our living room will be among my fondest memories. I will dearly miss “the visiting pro from Hamilton.” Thoughts and condolences to you all on the sad loss of this gentle wonderful man.

Kathy - my condolences to you and your family. I managed to lose your contact information over the years but I remember you well and I remember your dad's love for baseball and virtual gaming (even in its infancy). When you get time contact me at nwmac@sympatico.ca if you wish.

Three young boys. Cousins. Somehow bonded. The three caballeros. Two gone. First Don, now Norm and soon enough Peter. Norm will understand, when the deep purple falls over sleepy garden walls, memories scatter and echo forever down the halls of time.

Our condolences to the entire Roth family and to all those whose life he has touched in such a positive and good nature way!
Norm was more than just my friends dad. He was my friend and a father figure. We shared many talks on life, baseball, music, movies and of course ways to perfect our golf swing over fish 'n chips and/or pizza.
His smile, sense of humour, and warmth will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry that you have lost such a kind, tenderhearted, gentle soul. Your father made the world a better place. I am grateful to have a sample of his generous nature and so sorry that we have all lost him too soon. He will be remembered always and will live on through the spirits of his amazing children. I think of him whenever I hear a lovely golden oldie.
