Lorraine Wallace

November 13, 1931 - June 4, 2023

WALLACE, Lorraine Florence (nee Bentley)
November 13, 1931 – June 4, 2023

With deep sadness our family announces the passing of Lorraine on Sunday June 4, 2023. Precious mom of Don (Terry) and Glenn (Laurie). Loved and remembered by the Wallace and Bentley families, including her dear sister Susan and her husband Gilles; her many friends, old and new; and her neighbours at the Village of Wentworth Heights. Predeceased by a litany of loved ones, including her cherished husband of 63 years, Alex (2016) and her beloved grandson Mark (1999). Lorraine was a vivacious and loving person with an indominable spirit who embraced both the joys and sorrows of her life with courage and humour. We shall all greatly miss our “Unsinkable Molly Brown”. Special thanks to staff of St. Joseph’s Healthcare and the Village of Wentworth Heights for their compassionate care of Lorraine. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the M.A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home, 567 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton at 11:00am on Saturday July 8, 2023. For those who wish, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Don and Glen, our sincerest condolences to you and the whole family. We cherish the beautiful memories we have of your mom and your dad - our Atwater neighbours - especially all the chats with them on the front porch. She was a remarkable and kind woman with a great sense of humour. We miss them both dearly.

We have so many wonderful memories and giggles throughout the years we've known the Wallace family. Don, Glenn and Mike were quite the adventurous sons! Our favourite will always be the Wally wave (you had to see it to know it!), a tradition carried on by our dear friends Glenn and Laurie. Much love to all,

Karen and Mike

My condolences to the whole family especially to her lovely sister, Sue, who has been my friend for more than 40 years. I loved Lorraine's zest for life and spirit. I will always remember her trying to teach me to be frugal at Denningers one time when I met her there many years ago. She will be greatly missed by all.
