Gloria Beattie

December 21, 1937 - August 23, 2023

Gone to be with her beloved husband Dave of 56 years, Gloria Beattie (Lavenbein) passed away peacefully at Wentworth Lodge with her family by her side on August 23, 2023, at the age of 85.

Gloria's proudest accomplishment was her family whom she loved dearly. Loving mother of Kevin (Julie), Theresa (Ed), and Laurie (Ralph). Adored grandmother to Denise (Kory), Annie (Mike), David (Magdalena), Laura-Lei (Sheldon), Ryan (Taylor), James (Kierstyn), Tom, Will (Lisa), and Alicia (Chris). Treasured being known as GG, Nana or Grandma to her Great Grandchildren Hanelie, Kaydence, Greyson, Grace and Owen. She will be missed by her brother-in-law Terry and many nieces and nephews. A friend to everyone who was blessed to know her, but a special love was shared with her most dearest group of friends, "The Gang". In recent years Gloria enjoyed living life to the fullest with trips to the cottage, a cruise around the Caribbean and many day trips that always ended up in a visit to one of her favourite restaurants. She was always happy to be surrounded by family and friends. Always a joy to be around, telling you a story to make you laugh or providing life advice to ensure you were as happy as she was.
Special thank you to the staff of Wentworth Lodge for their care and love. In grandma's words the staff are "beautiful".
We will miss you dearly but know you are at peace. You have left us with wonderful memories which we will hold close to our hearts "Yabadabadooo".

Visitation at the M.A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home (567 Upper Wellington Street) on Sunday August 27th, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday August 29th Church of the Resurrection at 11 am, (435 Mohawk Rd. W., Hamilton). Burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Book of Condolences
Kathy, John Woodward and boys.
