Entered into rest peacefully on Monday January 15th, 2024 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Walter Morris (1993). Loving mother to Gord (Faye), Jen Atkinson and predeceased by Michele (Mimi) Stirling. Will be dearly missed by grandchildren Kelly and Mark Atkinson, Brenda (Mike) Stone and Brian (Maryanne) Morris. Great Grandmother to Emily and Sarah Stone and Mischa Morris. Predeceased by siblings Ewart (Larry), Fred (Bud), Jackie, Bessie and Bunnie. A sincere thank-you for all the care and kindness provided to Mom by the staff at Extendicare where Mom spent the last 9 years. Mom was a dedicated and faithful employee of Peninsulair for many years and now she finally has her wings.
A private family service has been entrusted to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
