A private family interment at White Chapel Cemetery will precede the funeral service. The family would appreciate, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Mission Services Hamilton.
We are very sad to read that uncle Bert has passed away. We will always remember his visits to the family in The Netherlands and the weeks we spent at his house after my grandfather (his brother Antoon) died. Our condolences to the whole family, our thoughts are with you! Henk, Gineke, Esther & Sandra Schilthuis

My deepest condolences to Berts Family with the loss of your father, grandfather and loved one.
I was lucky enough to be one of his neighbours for many years at the WellingstoneStone Christian Home.
We met at Mohawk College alongside Trudy Deys his dear friend in the art world. Bert spoke with so much love and pride about his family.
Bert will always be in my heart. 🙏

Liefs, Jitske
