Peacefully in her sleep, on November 16, 2025, Margaret passed away at St. Peter's Hospital. Cherished wife of late husband Leslie, loving and respected mother of Ron and Wendy (John), and special grandmother to Natasha (Scott) and great grandmother to Emelia and Evelyn. Survived by her sister Joanne Russell (Ellison), and brothers George (Vicky) and Tom (Betty Ann) Mac Donald, sister-in-law Shirley Gracie (Bob), and brother-in-law Alan Beckett (Gail).
Margaret lived an adventurous life shared with her husband Leslie, full of travel, music, friends and family. Margaret enjoyed singing at the Legion and knitting for charity. She had years of cherished memories of times spent with her many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Cemetery in Hamilton on Friday November 21 at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to the Alzheimer Association or Cancer Society are appreciated

Your Mom, and Dad Les were dear friends of my parents, back in the day…( Bill & Colleen Greene). So sorry to read today’s Spec & learn of your Mom’s passing. 😔
I have great memories of visiting your family often & the 4 of you visiting us at our trailer in Niagara. Your Mom was so fun, so nice, we had a lot of laughs.
I also recall, calling the old phone operator “switchboard” where your Mom worked & before she’d “connect” me, we’d have a little chat.
