THOMSON, John (Jack) Douglas March 18, 1931- June 15 , 2017 Peacefully into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ, at The Wellington Nursing Home, surrounded by his family, in his 87th year. Predeceased by his wife Willa (2012). Cherished Dad and BFF of Cindy and husband Norman Raymer. Survived by his sister Helen May and sister-in-law Marie Setter, also nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dad Loved spending time "beautifying" the grounds of Paramount Drive Alliance Church. Former employee of Stanley Works Canada for 36 years. Visitation will be held at the M. A. Clark & Sons Funeral Home 567 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of dad's life will be held in the Chapel Tuesday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff of The Wellington for their exceptional care of my dad.
