It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph "Joe" Daignault, 93, formerly of Aberdeen Gardens, Hamilton. He died peacefully in his sleep on January 17, 2026. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Kathryn (Carlos), Paul (Susan), Elizabeth (Jeff), his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his wife Annetta (2004). He was a member of the Local 18 Carpenters Union for over 70 years and a loyal member of the Independent Order Of Odd Fellows. His deep love for family, gentle spirit and kind nature were the foundation of his long and meaningful life. As per Joe's wishes there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in his honour to Margaret's Place Hospice, Dundas. Joe's memory will be best honoured by performing a random act of kindness, as he would have done.
