Peacefully at Wentworth Lodge Joyce passed away in the early morning on January 21, 2026, in
her 85th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Paul (2008), whom she missed dearly. Loving
mother of Laura and her husband, Kevin DiDomenico, and son Larry and his wife, Leslie. Dear
nanny of Ariana, Anissa, Alyssa, Mark, and Nicole. Sister of Henry and Peggy Kozak and Robert
Kozak. Predeceased by her brother David and sister-in-law Maryann and sisters-in-law Shirley
Price and Shirley Hand. Sister-in-law of Frank Hand and Patricia and Simon MacDonald. Special
aunt to Marylou, Mike, and their daughter Violet. Joyce met her best friend to this day, Rosemary
Thorpe, at St. Joseph's Nursing School, after which both went on to be registered nurses at St.
Joseph's Hospital for many years. Joyce loved camping and bowling and had a creative talent for
painting and flower arrangement. Special thanks to the staff at Wentworth Lodge for their care
and compassion. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, at M.A. Clark &
Sons Funeral Home at 567 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton. Burial to follow at Resurrection
Cemetery in Ancaster.
