Leonard (John) Bick

January 12, 1956 - January 25, 2026

Leonard John Bick (1956-2026)
Was called to heaven on Sunday, January 25th, with Lou-Ann, his loving wife of 46 years, by his side. After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, he is now at peace with his Heavenly Father.

Predeceased by his parents John and Anna.

Leonard was a devoted husband, loving father and Opa, and valued his family first and foremost. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Anna-Marie (Magnus), Jessica, Daniel (Emily), Cassandra (Brendon), and Melissa; and his beloved grandchildren Konrad, Theodore, Ivy; Breslyn, Lennox, Amias; Miller and Wren, as well as his brothers, large extended family, and many close friends.

Leonard also believed in the importance of giving back, and was involved in many community endeavors. He was a hard working entrepreneur and dedicated financial planner for over 30 years and valued time spent with his clients and colleagues. He was a charter member of Ancaster Rotary AM, a business mentor to many, and always up for a game of hockey. He leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and family traditions. We wish to extend our gratitude to the caring Gateside team at Idlewylde Manor.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Rehoboth URC and a funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 11:00 AM.

Donations in Leonard’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

Our deepest condolences to the Bick Family. Very, very sad today to read of the passing of Len. He was a generous leader and always a great supporter of his favourite town, Ancaster. I have known Len for over 30 years and he never failed to have a sparkle in his eyes as he was the eternal optimist. He will be remembered and missed. Gods speed my friend!

Woorden kunnen een steun zijn.
Maar het is de tijd die het verdriet
Verzacht.

Daarom voor nu
Heel veel sterkte.
En voor de toekomst
Rust en kracht

Lieve groet
