Doris Avery Lishman (nee Clark)
Doris passed away at home surrounded by her family. She was in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Harley Lishman. Loving mother to Cheryl, Greg and Marlene (Alex). Grandmother to Lauren, Megan, Alyssa (Jon), Katherine, Jillian (Owen) and Crystine. Great Grandmother, “GG” to Harley, Ada and Avery. Doris was pre-deceased by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Clark and her sisters Melda Clark and Marlene Lishman.
Doris was an avid reader, bridge player and chef. Her love of life was infectious, but her greatest joy came from her family. Doris and Harley raised their loving family in Oakville for 25 years and then returned to their family roots in Hamilton for their retirement years.
There will be a Celebration of Life at M.A. Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
The family have requested that donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation be made in lieu of flowers.
