Diane Marlene Riess
Quietly and peacefully at home, Diane went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 70 years. She is now reunited with her parents Bill and Muriel Wake. Diane is survived by her best friend and soul mate Barry!
Diane had a short career as an Administrator for a Real Estate company. Following that, she was devoted to being a Parental Care Giver for 16 years, first with her dad who had cancer and then her mother, until their passing.
She struggled thru two occurrences of Breast Cancer and a broken ankle which resulted in many hospital visits and home care until her passing. Many thanks to the paramed and VON staff for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held on June 13th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 noon, followed by a church Funeral Service at 12:00 noon at the Church of the Resurrection, 435 Mohawk Road West in Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Church of the Resurrection Memorial Fund or to the Cancer Assistance Program in Hamilton
