Scott Douglas Ridge

September 17, 1961 – September 16, 2026

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Douglas Ridge, on September 16, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Scott passed away at home, surrounded by the comfort of familiar surroundings, just hours shy of his 65th birthday.

Scott will be remembered for his love of plants, gardening, and his animals. These brought him great joy and were an important part of his life.

Scott predeceases his parents, Wesley Blair Ridge (Norma) and Carole Ann Bower (Ted); his partner Theresa Miller; his older brother Kevin Ridge (Karen); his bonus siblings Tim Bower (Lori) and Barb MacKinnon (Jim); and his children, Danielle Ridge and Amanda Pinho.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and in the gardens, plants, and animals that brought him so much happiness.

Cremation is taking place, and a private family gathering has been arranged.
